Record
In the Chamber she has focused on labour, anti-discrimination and social-spending bills, and her special-committee seats cover the 6x1 amendment and the AI bill. Her four-day-week amendment was shelved once the broader 6x1 amendment passed the Chamber on 27 May 2026. The PSOL-REDE federation failed to clear the electoral threshold in October 2026, so it will lose regular access to the party fund and free broadcast time from 2027, according to Congresso em Foco.
Supporters point to her record vote and her labour agenda. Opponents on the right are in open conflict with her: she says PL deputies Nikolas Ferreira and Lucas Pavanato have attacked her in transphobic ways, and a 2025 remark by Ferreira about her led to a request for collective moral damages, according to Politize.
In their words
“Eu farei o que for essencial para que o Brasil um dia enxergue uma pessoa trans, LGBT, como sendo presidente do país.”
